Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-18
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct that is prohibited when using Restaurant Platforms ("Restaurant Platforms") and its services, including its AI features. It supplements our Terms of Service. It is provided for general information and does not constitute legal advice.
Prohibited activities
You must not use the Service, or allow anyone to use it, to:
- Send spam or unsolicited marketing in violation of anti-spam laws such as CASL or CAN-SPAM;
- Engage in any illegal activity, or facilitate the sale of prohibited or controlled goods;
- Commit fraud, payment fraud, or deceptive practices, or misrepresent your identity or business;
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or collect or message individuals without a lawful basis;
- Upload or distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other tenants' data;
- Share account credentials, resell access, or circumvent access controls, rate limits, or usage quotas;
- Scrape or extract data in bulk except through documented APIs;
- Abuse the AI systems — for example, attempting to bypass safety controls, generate illegal content, impersonate others, or produce content that violates our AI providers' acceptable-use policies.
Your responsibility for messaging
If you use the Service to send email or SMS to your customers, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and valid consent for those communications, for honouring unsubscribe requests, and for complying with all applicable marketing and privacy laws. The platform provides consent tracking and one-click unsubscribe tools to help, but compliance for your messages remains your responsibility.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this AUP or risks the security, stability, or reputation of the Service or other tenants. Where reasonable, we will provide notice.
